10.2.A1 Driving lessons

A first-time driver's license learner must attend mandatory theory and driving lessons through a driving school, and the associated teachers must be approved to teach the specific driver's license categories. The theory and driving lessons must comply with the requirements set by the Danish Transport Agency.

The practical driving lessons must be carried out with a driving instructor in an approved driving school vehicle, which normally belongs to and is also the responsibility of the driving instructor. On the maneuvering track and when participating in the technical slippery track, you will sit alone in the car and receive instructions via a walkie-talkie from an instructor. The lessons on the maneuvering track and the technical slippery track are essential exercises that the student must pass to move forward in the driving license process.
