10.1.A Requirements to get a driver’s licence

A driver's license is something you must apply for, pay for, and pass. You need to fill out an application for a license, submit a medical certificate, a copy of your health certificate, a passport photo, a first aid certificate, and, if you are not a Danish citizen, a copy of your residence permit. Additionally, you must pay a booking fee and a registration fee. Once the application has been approved, a theory test can be booked. If you are under 18 but at least 16 years and 9 months old, you must have a declaration of consent from your parents or guardian before participating in lessons at the driving school.
