What is a Danish driving test?

A driving test is the final test you must pass to acquire a driver's license. The test is now offered by the Danish Transport Agency, and previously it was the National Police that was responsible for all the driving tests. A driving test is conducted at one of the many places offered in Zealand, on the island of Fyn, in Jutland and on some of the islands in Denmark. A driving test lasts approximately 30-45 minutes, during which the student drives the car with an examiner in the passenger seat. Before driving the car, the student has to answer a few questions about the car. A driving test must be ordered at a driving school and it is the driving instructor who decides when a student is ready for a driving test. For the driving test, you must remember to bring the necessary documents. After passing the driving test, the student will be given a temporary driving licence, which is valid from the day of the driving test. You will receive the permanent driver's license within the following two months.
