Unconditional Duty to Give Way. You must give way when leaving: A country road A path A dirt road A private or public property A large parking lot A petrol, electricity, or gas station A beach A forest A sandy road A playground, recreation, or residential area A pedestrian street A speed-restricted area Additionally, unconditional duty to give way applies when crossing or leaving: A pavement area A cycle path A STOP traffic sign An elevated roadside (level difference) Shark teeth road markings An unconditional give way traffic sign A cobbled paved road When entering a roundabout The intersection is not subject to unconditional give way duty.
