1.d. Requirements
You must be able to identify individual parts in a car and have knowledge of operating the car's instruments and equipment. This lesson covers, among other things: Interior of the car, the car's equipment, the necessary documents about the car, the car's engine, clutch, gear, steering system, brake system, the car's load-bearing parts and bodywork. In a car with a manual gearbox, there are 3 pedals. The clutch pedal is the one on the left, normally only operated with your left foot. The brake pedal is in the middle and it is operated with the right foot. The accelerator pedal is the one to the right. The term to disengage the clutch means that you must press the clutch pedal down. In a car with automatic transmission, there is no need for a clutch pedal, and therefore it does not exist in a car with automatic transmission.
